Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is. When you are listening to a *preacher*, you are to continually sift through what is being said to "try the spirits" to see if what they say is true according to the infallible word of God. Trust only in God our Father, Jesus Christ who came to the world in flesh, the Holy Ghost and the lamp before our feet which is the word of God. Discerning of spirits is one of the many gifts that are given freely with receiving the Holy Spirit of our living God. The Holy Bible instructs us to study the word of God. We are told that the spirit of the antichrist and false prophets and doctrine are already in the world. 1 John 4:3 says "And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world". There are many versions of the Bible that are offered, but only one has withstood the test of time produced in English in 1611 - The Authorized Version (KJV). For all tables are full of vomit and filthiness, so that there is no place clean.

1 Thessalonians 2:13 For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.

2 Timothy 3:8-9 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as their's also was.

John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

Psalm 52:2 The tongue deviseth mischiefs; like a sharp razor, working deceitfully.

Galatians 4:16 Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?

Pride: Spiritual blindness and deafness has corrupted many of the churches in America and England. The Holy Bible says in 1 John 2:20&27 "But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things. But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him". Colossians 2:8 says "Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ". The false doctrine taught in many churches comes from the brainwashing of men's vain theology taught in most semineries today. Micah 6:9 "The LORD's voice crieth unto the city, and the man of wisdom shall see thy name: hear ye the rod, and who hath appointed it". The "wisdom" of religious leaders cried out for the death of Jesus Christ. Luke 11:49 "Therefore also said the wisdom of God, I will send them prophets and apostles, and some of them they shall slay and persecute:" and in John 19:6 "When the chief priests therefore and officers saw him, they cried out, saying, Crucify him, crucify him. Pilate saith unto them, Take ye him, and crucify him: for I find no fault in him". You can see the "fruit of the Biblical Institutions" throughout the weakened, watered down and divided Christian body today. Where have the churches gone that tell people that if their name is not found in the book of life they will be cast into hell for eternity? What is going on with women who have their own church or preach? The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 14:34-35 "Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience as also saith the law. And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church". Modernism and political correctness have brought spineless preachers who are now rampant throughout the churches with their "feel good" messages. Men wanting to please their congregations by "stroking" and tickling the ears of the people in their pews is shameful. Men claiming to be pastors are "tiptoeing" around their sermons showing a fear of upsetting their congregation instead of demonstrating and teaching a holy fear of the LORD. Men ought to obey God rather then pleasing people. Our blessed Lord & Savior Jesus Christ picked men that were not from seminaries to be his disciples. The Bible says in Acts 4:13 "Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus". The religious authorities with their stinking pride "marvelled" that Christ chose unlearned men to proclaim and teach the gospel. Many men coming out of Bible College are showing an absence of the holy fear of our living God and are showing a need to be entertainers instead of sound Biblical teachers. When churches are looking for a pastor, priest, evangelist, bishop, deacon, elder, etc, they ought to be looking for men anointed by the Holy Spirit of our living God instead of a worthless piece of paper showing they have studied men's vain theology. God is very clear about the wisdom of men, we have none but what the Lord gives us. These 45 verses from the Bible are clear about wisdom and men's ignorance:

(1) Job 28:28 And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the LORD, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.

(2) Job 36:5 Behold, God is mighty, and despiseth not any: he is mighty in strength and wisdom.

(28) Ecclesiastes 2:26 For God giveth to a man that is good in his sight wisdom, and knowledge, and joy: but to the sinner he giveth travail, to gather and to heap up, that he may give to him that is good before God. This also is vanity and vexation of spirit.

(38) 1 Corinthians 1:20 Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?

(39) 1 Corinthians 2:4 And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:

(40) 1 Corinthians 2:5 That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

(41) 1 Corinthians 2:13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

(42) Job 37:24 Men do therefore fear him: he respecteth not any that are wise of heart.

(43) 1 Corinthians 12:8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;

(45) 1 Corinthians 14:38 But if any man be ignorant, let him be ignorant.

Consider what the Holy Bible says and think about who you have behind your pulpit, or on your radio or TV. Ask yourself this: Am I following men's theology or sound doctrine from the Lord? Forsake your pride, get on your face before God and repent while there is time. It will be better for you to repent in this life then to be judged in the next. Ask our Lord Jesus Christ to deliver you from your own wisdom and give you his. Build your personal relationship with Jesus Christ in truth and sincerity.

James 3:17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

Isaiah 40:28 Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.

Scriptures on The Holy Spirit from the Word of God

Proverbs 1:22-33 How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge? Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you. Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded; But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof: I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh; When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you. Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me: For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD: They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof. Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices. For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them. But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.

Proverbs 12:19 The lip of truth shall be established for ever: but a lying tongue is but for a moment.

Proverbs 14:22 Do they not err that devise evil? but mercy and truth shall be to them that devise good.

Hebrews 13:9 Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace;

1 John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

Our beloved Lord Jesus Christ said in Luke 4:18-19 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

Proverbs 3:5-7,13,17,23,25,26&27 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil. Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding. Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace. Then shalt thou walk in thy way safely, and thy foot shall not stumble. Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it cometh. For the LORD shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken. Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it.

Proverbs 2:6&20 For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding. That thou mayest walk in the way of good men, and keep the paths of the righteous.

Romans 10:14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?

2 Peter 2:17-22 These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever. For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error. While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage. For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

2 Timothy 2:16 But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.

Luke 18:13 And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.

John 7:24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

Psalm 37:30 The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, and his tongue talketh of judgment.

Psalm 19:7 The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.

Job 11:4-11 For thou hast said, My doctrine is pure, and I am clean in thine eyes. But oh that God would speak, and open his lips against thee; And that he would shew thee the secrets of wisdom, that they are double to that which is! Know therefore that God exacteth of thee less than thine iniquity deserveth. Canst thou by searching find out God? canst thou find out the Almighty unto perfection? It is as high as heaven; what canst thou do? deeper than hell; what canst thou know? The measure thereof is longer than the earth, and broader than the sea. If he cut off, and shut up, or gather together, then who can hinder him? For he knoweth vain men: he seeth wickedness also; will he not then consider it?

Proverbs 14:12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

Daniel 12:3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

Do not be wise in your own eyes: In church or out of church we are to discern what is right. (1 Corinthians 5:12) For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within? All Christians have the responsibility of using spiritual discernment for everything we read, see or listen to - everything. We know that Satan is the great deceiver (John 8:31-59) and the whole world lieth in wickedness as it says in the following verses: (1 John 5:19) And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness. (Titus 1:10-11) For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision: Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake. (2 Timothy 4:3-4) For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. (Matthew 24:11) And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. (Matthew 24:24) For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. (Acts 20:29) For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. (Matthew 7:15) Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. (Matthew 10:16) Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. (Romans 16:17-18) Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple. (Jeremiah 5:2) And though they say, The LORD liveth; surely they swear falsely. (Jeremiah 14:14) Then the LORD said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name: I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake unto them: they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their heart. (Jeremiah 29:9) For they prophesy falsely unto you in my name: I have not sent them, saith the LORD. (Matthew 26:59) Now the chief priests, and elders, and all the council, sought false witness against Jesus, to put him to death; (2 Corinthians 11:13-15) For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works. (2 Peter 2:1) But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. (Proverbs 12:15) The way of a fool is right in his own eyes: but he that hearkeneth unto counsel is wise. (Isaiah 5:21) Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight! (Proverbs 30:12) There is a generation that are pure in their own eyes, and yet is not washed from their filthiness. (Psalm 118:8) It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man. (Psalm 20:7) Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God. (Psalm 40:4) Blessed is that man that maketh the LORD his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.

Ecclesiastes 3:14 I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him.

Colossians 4:6 Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.

Habakkuk 2:14 For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.

Galatians 3:25-26 But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.

Proverbs 19:23 The fear of the Lord tendeth to life: and he that hath it shall abide satisfied; he shall not be visited with evil.

Church Division in America: The word of God says in many Scriptures that Christians are to be likeminded. How are we to have revival in this fallen country without getting rid of the spiritual pride and start having like-mindedness? Denominations are not in the Holy Bible. In the Bible, there are no Catholics, Baptists, Lutherans, Methodists, Jehovah Witness, Evangelicals, Presbyterians, Anglicans, Pentecostals, Orthodox, Episcopal, Messianic Judaism, Mormons, Episcopalians, etc. In (Matthew 24:10) it says And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. (Matthew 11:6) And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me. (Matthew 13:21) Yet hath he not root in himself, but endureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended. (Luke 17:1) Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come! (John 16:1) These things have I spoken unto you, that ye should not be offended. (James 3:2) For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body. The Bible only mentions one Church for all Christians. (Acts 20:28) Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. (1 Corinthians 10:32) Give none offence, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God: This confusion and division within the Christian churches is not of God. The word of God says that Christians are to be united as one even as our Holy Father and Jesus are One. We are to be like minded knowing that we are all branches belonging to the same vine. We are all members belonging to the same body. We are all sheep belonging to one shepherd, the Holy One of Israel - our beloved Jesus Christ. Let's see what the Bible says about the wisdom of men: (1 Corinthians 2:5) That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. (James 3:15-17) This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. (1 Corinthians 3:19) For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness. (Proverbs 23:4) Labour not to be rich: cease from thine own wisdom. The Bible says: (John 10:16) And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd. (John 17:22) And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: (John 10:30) I and my Father are one. (Romans 12:5) So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another. (John 15:5) I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. (1 Corinthians 8:6) But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him. (1 Corinthians 10:17) For we being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread. (1 Corinthians 12:13) For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. (Romans 15:5) Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus: (Philippians 2:2) Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. (Philippians 3:15) Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you. (Acts 2:1) And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. (Acts 2:46) And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, (Acts 4:24) And when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and said, Lord, thou art God, which hast made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all that in them is: (Acts 8:6) And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. (John 16:1-2) These things have I spoken unto you, that ye should not be offended. They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service. Proverbs 6:19 says that sowing discord is an abomination in the eyes of God. Denominations open the door to divisions and weaken the body of Christ. The Bible goes through great lengths to explain that we all have a different function but we should all be as one. Church membership is not Biblical. The Bible says that we are all members belonging to the same body, the head of whom is Jesus Christ. (Proverbs 16:6) By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the LORD men depart from evil. (Matthew 3:10&12 ) And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.

Ephesians 3:14-21 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

Ecclesiastes 3:11-15 He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end. I know that there is no good in them, but for a man to rejoice, and to do good in his life. And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labour, it is the gift of God. I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him. That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past.
